Unlike hotels or Airbnb properties in the New Haven area, The Anita Louise combines curated design, professional studio workspace, artist programming, and direct access to New Haven’s thriving arts community.

It was inspiring to explore the incredible work happening across so many disciplines while sharing our vision for The Anita Louise—a creative hospitality model designed asa home for the wandering artist. We believe artists deserve spaces that do more than provide a place to sleep; they deserve environments that inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and connect them to the cultural fabric of the cities they visit.Thank you to Yale Ventures and everyone we had the chance to meet, learn from, and exchange ideas with. We left energized, encouraged, and even more excited to continue building a space where creativity, community, and economic opportunity can grow together.We were incredibly grateful to be invited to participate in the 2026 Bonanza held here in New Haven, Ct. We were able to talk on many levels and share our vision for how the arts are an economic driver and demonstrate how wrap around services for artistic entrepreneurs is a highly efficent way to build a community. Bonanza! is an invitation-only unconference for ideas, connections, and fun. They bring together the people who create the spaces, events, and organizations through which community life happens across Connecticut. They intentionally curate the one day gathering so people connect with peers who they otherwise might not meet, and so the event is designed to fulfill needs and aspirations.
